Claudia's talking in not just sentences but whole paragraphs. I can't imagine what she's going to be like in a few months. She's my little ball of giggles and fun.
I was joking with the girls and asking them if they wanted me to have another baby. Nadine just laughs and says "no no no silly Mommy", but Claudia's reaction was priceless: "No no no Mommy please promise me no!" She knows she has it made as the baby of the house. Dean says she knows how big of a pain in the butt she is to Nadine and doesn't want the same done to her.
My Weight Watchers weigh-in this week was typical for me. It's my time of the month, and I showed a 1.6-pound gain. It'll disappear next week along with whatever happened underneath the hormones, so it doesn't worry me at all. There's no sense in getting upset over something that's going to happen every month for the next decade or two; I'll just stay on plan and keep shrinking. The only thing better than a good weigh-in is getting into a smaller size pair of jeans while it's your time of the month.
In other news, I'll be vice president of the honor society next year, so yay me! Everything's shaping up much better than I dared dream...as of getting elected vice president of the honor society, I now qualify for scholarships that will more than cover my expenses at UMC.
